Day 7 : I See These Opportunities Keep Falling Out Of Your Hands From Bishop Climate

Dear Child of God,

For the past few days we have been dealing with curses that have to do with opportunities. Delayed Opportunities, Missed Opportunities, and now last night we were praying against the curse of Fallen Opportunities. 

What happens when you have a curse of fallen opportunities over your life? Child of God, opportunities come, that is not the issue, but when they reach your hands, they die. Dead marriages and relationships are a result of fallen opportunities. Closed businesses are a result of fallen opportunities. 

I see especially a lot of opportunities came your way last year, the ones that reached you, but they fell from your hands. Opportunities were there to make your life better, but yet they fell to the ground. 

The Bible tells us in the book of Judges about a man named Samson who judged Israel for 20 years. In those days judges were like kings, they were the leader of the nation, responsible for raising up the people, building up an army, securing a better future (like what king David did). But for all the years Samson was in charge, he never built up anybody but himself. He was a man of strength, a warrior, a killer, but he never built any army. Instead he spent all his time in the camp of the enemy. 

Instead of spending time in Hebron with his people, he was in the land of the Philistines. Though God brought every opportunity and placed it on his lap, yet it fell away from him because he didn’t appreciate it. He could have made Israel great, he could have raised them up to be a mighty army, to be a mighty nation, but nothing changed while he was in charge. A great opportunity yet a fallen one. 

Child of God, I see a bad spirit in your life that must be broken. Because every time when opportunity comes your way, I see the devil will bring people and situations into your life to draw all your focus away and put it on the wrong things. Samson was always being led astray by women. Sometimes it can be people, it can be circumstances, but they force you to neglect the opportunities in your life that could make your life better. As a result there is no progress in your life. 

Sometimes you can inherit this curse from your family. It’s a repeated thing you see amongst your family members. Other times it’s because of a lack of personal development. This year you must focus on developing yourself. Develop yourself in your relationship, in your career/business, in your health, in every area where you need a change or improvement. Instead of pursuing and giving your time to things that don’t benefit you, this year you must be disciplined. At times this curse can also be programmed into your life by the enemy. We see that with Samson, his wife Delilah was working with the Philistines and using spiritual powers in order to defeat him. Everything about his life was programmed until finally it gave way. 

There are different reasons this curse can be operating in your life. But one thing is for sure, is that this year must be different. This time when opportunity comes, you must know what to do so that every opportunity can turn to be a blessing in your life. That is why we need to pray today against every curse of fallen opportunity.
