Bishop Climate Ministries A Place Where The Captives Are Set Free
Dear Child Of God
Yesterday we finished Day 2 of our 21 Days Conference. It’s my prayer this year that nothing will catch you off guard, nothing will come by surprise, but that you will be fully ready and equipped to take on whatever you meet this year so that you can come out victorious.
The Lord spoke to me that there are 21 proclamations that Jacob made over his 12 children; each one representing a different blessing or curse that we must be aware of. Yesterday we discovered about Simeon and Levi, and how because of their anger, they came under a curse by their father.
Simeon and Levi are brothers [equally headstrong, deceitful, vindictive, and cruel]; their swords are weapons of violence. O my soul, come not into their secret council; unto their assembly let not my honor be united [for I knew nothing of their plot], because in their anger they slew men [an honored man, Shechem, and the Shechemites], and in their self-will they disabled oxen. Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce, and their wrath, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel. (Gen 49:5-7)
The Bible tells us that after Jacob left Laban after 20 years, with his wives and children, he arrived at the town of Schechem, in the land of Canaan, and pitched his tent. (Gen 33:18)

After some time, Dinah, the sister of Simeon and Levi, went out and was noticed by Schechem who took her and lay with her. His heart loved her so much that he wanted her for his wife. And so his father came to Jacob, willing to offer him anything that he asked for, offering all their lands to be available for them, in exchange for his daughter.
But Simeon and Levi had other plans. They tricked the men of Schechem and then killed them all, because of their anger and pride. As a result, Jacob was forced to flee. When he should have been settling and buying up land, he was forced to leave.
And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, You have ruined me, making me infamous and embroiling me with the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites and the Perizzites! And we are few in number, and they will gather together against me and attack me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my household. (Gen 34:30)
And God said to Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there. And make there an altar to God Who appeared to you [in a distinct manifestation] when you fled from the presence of Esau your brother. (Gen 35:1)
Because of anger, Jacob was forced to flee. Because of anger, Jacob was unable to settle. Because of anger, Jacob had to forfeit his lands.
Child of God, 2020 we must deal with the curse of anger. What could have been the greatest opportunity for Jacob in securing a future settlement, ended up becoming a curse for him.
And it is this same spirit that is destroying lives today. Many people are rotting in jail today because the spirit of anger took hold of them. The spirit of anger is what divides marriages, divides families, can cause you to be sacked from your job, and can make people to flee from you. But especially the spirit of anger can block the blessing of God from flowing into your life.
The Bible says
The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride. Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. (Ecclesiastes 7:8-9)
Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared. (Proverbs 22:24-25)
The spirit of anger is so dangerous. It can cause you to lose in a day, what you worked your entire life for. This is why we must pray and rise up against this spirit today. So that this year, it shall not cause your downfall.
Yes especially this spirit it likes to work around the timing of your breakthrough. When promotion is on the way, it may seem as though all hell is breaking loose, crisis is taking place here and there, but if you keep your cool, you will come out a winner.
This year you must not be thrown off guard, the spirit of anger must have no foot in your life. That is why today I have 25 special prayer points for you to pray and intercede against this spirit today so that we can break every curse of anger over your life. You must join me daily in prayer.
