Dear Child Of God,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Things are quickly picking up on Day 3 and if you haven\u2019t yet joined us I hope that you will today. Since the first of January we began our 21 days of fasting, and it\u2019s not too late to start. You can join in with us, do your fasting from home, and join us live every night as we meet for powerful prayers and powerful revelations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the last couple of days we have been speaking about some of the curses that came upon Jacob\u2019s children; these are actually spirits that we need to be aware of in order for us to be successful this year and do the things that God has called us to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

And that is why we have been in serious prayer, and we\u2019re continuing until the 21st of January. Because God spoke to me before this year began that this is the year of answered prayer.<\/b> This is the year when things have to change, this is the year when things have to move, when things have to be different. And that\u2019s why we\u2019re starting off the year with prayer, so that we can deal with some issues before they have the chance to rise up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And so we were talking about Rueben, the curse of the few, we were talking about the curse of anger yesterday. And today we are talking about Levi. And it\u2019s amazing to see what Levi represents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bible says in Genesis 49:5,<\/span><\/p>\n

Simeon and Levi are brothers [equally headstrong, deceitful, vindictive, and cruel]; their swords are weapons of violence.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

But actually Simeon was the one between the two of them that was leading. Simeon was the one convincing, Simeon was the one manipulating. Levi was the one that was going along with it. Levi was the one that was easily influenced, easily manipulated. And because of that, instead of receiving a blessing from his father, he received a curse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And we see this happen later on within the tribe of Levi. When the children of Israel were in the wilderness, the time came for Moses to go up to the mountain with God, and the Bible says he delayed in coming down and all of a sudden people began to panic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When the people saw that\u00a0Moses\u00a0delayed\u00a0to come down from the mountain, [they] gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, Up, make us gods to go before us; as for this\u00a0Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him (Exodus 32:1)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

And so Aaron, though he was Moses\u2019 brother, but yet he could not convince them. If there was anyone that could be able to encourage the children of Israel to cool down and wait, it should have been Aaron. But yet we see that characteristic of Levi, that manipulation, that ability to be easily influenced. And so while Moses was gone and he delayed just a little bit, and the people came and put just a little bit of pressure upon Aaron, and he just gave in to them. The bible doesn\u2019t tell us that he tried to argue with them or convince them otherwise or sway their opinion. He just agreed with them, and went and made a golden calf.<\/span><\/p>\n

So Aaron replied, Take the gold rings from the ears of your wives, your sons, and daughters, and bring them to me. So all the people took the gold rings from their ears and brought them to Aaron. And he received the gold at their hand and fashioned it with a graving tool and made it a molten calf; and they said, These are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt! (Exodus 32:2-4)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

And so this is what we need to deal with today and this year; it\u2019s this spirit of manipulation. Sometimes when you are waiting for an answer from God and it doesn\u2019t come as quickly as you want it to, the devil will use that to bring a spirit of manipulation. Many people have lost their way, because in the process of waiting on God, they end up going ahead of God and making their own thing happen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So Moses comes down from the mountain and sees what is going on and he\u2019s talking to Aaron and he is asking him what happened?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And Moses said to Aaron, What did this people do to you, that you have brought so great a sin upon them? (Exodus 32:21)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

And yet it was just a little bit of pressure and Aaron had given in. It\u2019s the same thing that happened when Simeon wanted to attack the men of Shechem, he put pressure on Levi to convince him to go along with his plan. And so we have to be careful. Because of pressure, the spirit of manipulation can cause you to change everything in your life. It can cause you to change your belief, your focus, your commitment. You may have a little bit of pressure at work, suddenly you want to breakdown. You may have a little pressure in your marriage\/relationship and you want to give up.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year you must stand against that. This year you must be determined to be strong.<\/b> That you aren\u2019t going to allow the spirit of manipulation to get you off track. You won\u2019t allow the spirit of manipulation to keep you from what God has for you this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When Moses came down from the mountain and found out what happened, he was so angry that he broke the tablets that God had made. And he went back up the mountain for another 40 days to get another two tablets. And so we can see the spirit of manipulation can cause delay. It wants to dislocate you, it wants to displace you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Because when you are outside of God\u2019s timing, you are outside of God\u2019s protection. Things spiral quickly out of control. And so this year you must be determined not to let things get out of control. Not to allow the spirit of manipulation to determine what is going to happen in your life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Listen, just like people can study people, the devil has been studying you for a long time. He knows your strengths and he knows your weakness. He knows the points of entry. He knows where to hit you where it hurts. He knows the best place to attack. And so, if he knows you are a person who is easily manipulated, all he has to do is apply a bit of pressure. Internal pressure, external pressure, pressure from your job, your relationship, your children, etc. and before you know it you are no longer doing what you desire to do. You\u2019re doing something else, you\u2019re being led astray, you\u2019re going off in another direction which has nothing to do with the plans of God for your life. And so this is what the devil will do, he will bring people, he will bring internal pressure, external pressure, in order to misplace you, to dislocate you outside of the plans of God, so that you can miss what God is doing, so that you can get outside of God\u2019s protection and then disaster happens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If Levi never followed Simeon he could have received a blessing, but instead he received a curse. And today we don\u2019t see the tribe of Levi. Jesus came through Judah. Today there\u2019s no such thing as the tribe of Levi, it\u2019s long lost and forgotten. This year you must not be long, lost and forgotten.<\/b> You must have a legacy. You must determine that what God has begun in your life he will finish it. And nobody and nothing is going to move you outside of the will of God and the plans of God for your life. If anybody is going to move you it\u2019s because God moved you, not because you moved yourself, not because somebody else moved you but because God moved you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year let God position your life, this year let God be the determining factor of the decisions that you make. This year let God be in control. This year if anybody should manipulate you, let it be the power of God, let it be the word of God, let it be the presence of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And that is why right now I have 22 POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS for you to pray, so that you can overcome this spirit of manipulation. With these prayer points, let God open up your eyes so that when you see it, it will not come as a surprise, you will not fall to its trap, but you can rise up and stand against it and come out victorious in Jesus name<\/span><\/p>\n

Today I feel in my spirit you need to sow a seed of \u00a330 to overcome every spirit of witchcraft that has been causing manipulation in your life.<\/b> <\/span>As you join daily by faith in prayer and fasting, send in your best offering to support the work of God. Remember Ecclesiastes 11:6 tells us “Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well”.<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n
