Today I want to share with you the importance of fellowship with God. I know that it can be hard sometimes with the stresses and busyness of life but It is important to take time and fellowship with Him, increasing the intimacy between us and God. God loves when we increase our connection to Him. The more we know Him and take time to fellowship with Him the more we are equipped ready to conquer different challenges. 1 Corinthians\u202c \u202d1\u202c:\u202d9\u202c\u00a0<\/strong>says\u00a0“God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Even in the garden of Eden the Lord called out of Adam because He had missed and he needed to spend moments with him. God misses us which is why when it comes to fellowship and taking time to concentrate on just Him, the connection grows and knowing God trusting God grows more and more within us. When the God element in you is strong the devil has nothing to attract itself to. \u00a0Genesis 3:8 talks about how Christ being the vine and us being the branch, if the vine had Christ that means the branch also has Christ which is why keeping the connection between you and God is very important and this is done through fellowship with him. 2 Peter\u202c \u202d1\u202c:\u202d3\u202c <\/em>says “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” <\/strong><\/em>Today remember always to begin the day with the Lord, seek him and increase your growth in the Lord through fellowship.<\/span><\/div>\n

Fellowship is the most important thing God wants from us. He wants to hear from us. He wants us to share with Him every need, every concern and every joy. Most importantly he wants us to \u00a0spend time with Him.\u00a0God has called each and every one of us and sometimes when he is calling to us we don\u2019t stop and listen. The bible\u00a0tells us the story in the book of Luke 10:38 that\u00a0when Jesus went to\u00a0visit Mary and Martha, Mary chose to spend time with Jesus to listen to him and to be in his presence, whilst Martha got stressed and busy doing all the planning and preparation for Jesus to show up.\u00a0Now there was nothing wrong with what Martha was\u00a0doing , but Mary was\u00a0the wisest she\u00a0chose to stop what she was doing to spend time at the feet of Jesus. Sometimes we have to slow down in our own lives\u00a0and take time out with our Heavenly Father. Today take a moment and spend time in\u00a0quietness with Him. Begin to look\u00a0forward to each time you spend with Him and delight yourself in His word. Church its time to realise that Jehovah is who we depend on for the direction of our lives. From today we need to focus on God and put all the pressing issues of live\u00a0aside. Child of God as you do this, you begin to see all the missing pieces in your life realign together.\u00a0Don\u2019t focus on your friends, family or even your colleagues focus on God alone! make Him your number one priority, as this is the season for more miracles, more favour and testimonies it\u2019s time for your spiritual\u00a0life to rise up, so bigger breakthroughs can take place Amen.
