Hi Child of God, Hope your having a great week, today I have been reflecting on what it takes to become a great leader. When it comes to being a great leader it comes with great responsibilities. Real leaders are not afraid of losing those around them. (Matthew 20:26) “Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant” Jesus is King over all the earth, yet he served His disciples and washed their feet. Don’t allow pride to take over for fear of feeling weak or incapable before other. Be thankful for the position God has given you, and serve faithfully. Prove your servant hood by not only submitting to the author but to fulfil your duties. Use every day as a way to be able to master your Spirit, keep guard over your soul, resulting in controlling your self-discipline which is crucial if you are expecting to be a good leader. If you are not able to control yourself, how will you be able to influence others? A life of order is a life of respected and admired which leads to you being patient. Child of God, patience is a virtue and if you are expecting greater things in your life to happen overnight, you better quit now. God’s greatest Treasures take time to be refined and developed. Allow God to work his process in you and in your life. Every great leader has had to pass the test of time. Be able to seek accountability in order to lead others you need to lead yourself and in order to lead yourself, you must be able to be accountable of your actions. Today remember that the smallest crowd you will ever lead is you but it’s the most important one.  

Its so important to look out and follow these tips. If you are a leader or looking to assert yourself into a place of leadership its very important to not be diverted from the bigger picture. Sometime you may find yourself in the midst of situation, that can be difficult, you may find yourself making a shocking discovery. Maybe you are running out of solutions and are desperate to find an answer. But remember we serve a God of miracles. Sometime leaders can be diverted from the big-picture with small matters. Many leaders fail to see these waves of distraction coming, and they forgotten to put on their sail and later only to find out it was distraction. Yes I know the small things matter but take a minute to think are they beneficial in the Long run ? Today Focus on the Ultimate purpose of God that he has called you to do Focus on your vision , that dream, your talents and the people around you.
