“Good Morning Bishop and First Lady

,Lord I thank you for your power, anointing and your presence. In the last few months two directors ganged up against me and said very hurtful things to me.  I never confronted them but I decided to deal with them through the power in the fire service. I put their names in the fire and since the month of June they have both been on long term sick leave. Today, one of them rang a colleague at work and requested to speak to me. She told me “I am no longer coming back to work”. To God be the glory… the other one remains off sick. My other testimony is about an Islamic junior staff who was trying to mess around with me. He acted funny towards women, flirting with them, hugging them at work, buying their lunch, making unnecessary phone calls outside of work. But when he saw that I knew who he was and wasn’t giving into him, he quickly changed his behaviour towards me. He started openly speaking against born-again Christians, tithes, making fun of how Pentecostal people pray, etc. I knew it was an indirect personal attack aimed towards me. Again I did not engage in his conversations or confront him but I put his name in the fire. To God be the Glory. This man failed to participate in the Ramadan fasting because he fell sick. He was taken to A&E and he was off sick from work. He returned back to work today, but now he is keeping to himself and he is quiet. Tonight is the fire service and I know the fire will finish him in Jesus name. Looking forward to the fire service tonight, Thank you.” – N.M. (London)

Hi Child of God,  Are you tired of always being on the losing end? Does it seem like no matter what you do, you just can’t win? God wants to fight your battles, He wants you to let Him avenge for you (Hebrews 10:30). If you are doing anything for God; trying to make progress in life; be successful, for your family, your children, or your future, then you are going to have enemies. Jesus said it himself that we would have trouble in this earth, but that it wouldn’t overcome us if we trusted in Him because He has already overcome. We are to trust God to deal with our enemies.

Perhaps you have a physical enemy, or it may even be a spiritual, emotional or financial enemy.  They could be physical names, spiritual elements, financial battles, emotional struggles, health issues, etc. Write all the names of your enemies, bring a copy of those bills or documents personally, I want you to experience the power of God in your life. Many have even put copies of their outstanding bills/debts into the fire and testified how God has begun cancelling them as they put their faith in him.

There are many more testimonies just like this about how people have experienced powerful victories and the hand of God in their life when putting the names of their enemies in the fire. Sometimes I sit back and I think about the extreme measures that I take for my people, but one thing I know is that God loves when we do something extraordinary to catch his attention. And that is why I know and believe that God is with us, and the testimonies are living proof. Heb 12:29 says that “Our God is a consuming fire”.
